Clarke spent her twenties figuring out her life — with stints including being a professional tree counter, an amateur reality show producer, and an English teacher abroad. Today, she focuses on writing stories about other people going through that journey. In her spare time, she hunts for the best iced coffee and ice cream, avoids parallel parking, and reads an excessive number of books. She lives in New York City.
